Berlin: Shots in the city centre – police secure crime scene with machine guns

In Berlin, more than 3.5 million people live in a relatively small area. This means that the fire brigade and police have a lot to do. Because not all conflicts end well.

But violence rarely escalates to the point where firearms are used. In the north of central Berlin, the police had to be deployed and deal with a confusing situation. The officers tackled the incident in the middle of a residential area with a large contingent.
