Berlin Kudammbühnen want to offer corona tests – Berlin.de

The Berlin theaters have been closed for months due to the pandemic. The Kudammbühnen now want to set up a public test center in their foyer.

Of course, they would much rather open and play, said theater director Martin Woelffer of the German Press Agency on Wednesday (April 7th, 2021). “But we accept that it is currently not possible.”

Numerous test stations in Berlin

There are already dozens of test stations in Berlin, including pharmacies that offer free citizen tests, for example. From Friday, people should now be able to be tested for the corona virus at the Kudammbühnen in the Schiller Theater. “I am very happy that something is going on again in the theater,” said Woelffer. They wanted to do something useful for society, and hopefully something would fall financially. The theater employees will also be tested there in the future, so far a doctor has come to the house.
