Leipzig. The day after RB Leipzig reached the DFB Cup final, there is of course only one important question for the fans of the Tedesco team: How do I get tickets for the decisive last duel against SC Freiburg on May 21st? 21,524 tickets are available to RB, the same number to the people of Breisgau. The prices range between 60 and 150 euros for a ticket. It is still unclear where the Saxon fans will sit. The decision between the block at the marathon gate (this is where the people of Leipzig were “at home” when they first took part in the 2019 final) and the east curve of the Berlin Olympic Stadium (with a total of 74,775 seats) will be made on Friday.

Irrespective of this, those responsible at Cottaweg sent out a circular email on the subject of tickets to their own supporters the night after the 2-1 win against Union Berlin. The most important piece of information: If you haven’t received an e-mail, you don’t have a chance of getting one of the coveted tickets.

You can’t just buy them: If you want to be there in Berlin, you have to apply online by Sunday (April 24, 11:59 p.m.). The following applies: There are no more than four tickets per person. And of course the online form can only be filled out once. According to the RB, the tickets are issued in a fixed order to only four groups of people: frequent travelers, fans with season tickets with and without a regular seat guarantee, OFC and sponsoring members. For classification: 31,000 supporters are in the Bseat of an RB season ticket. By May 2nd it will be clear who won the card lottery.

Those who weren’t lucky will have to deal with the TV broadcast of the ARD and Sky put up with. Because there is no hope of a ticket from the contingent offered by the German Football Association as the organizer. The application phase for these cards ended on April 6th, two weeks before the semifinals.
