The old buildings will be demolished by the Dalmine real estate company, Ferretticasa, to make room for a new building with a higher energy class that will house about 150 homes: it will be set back from the road thus obtaining a large tree-lined sidewalk and will have a courtyard-square. for public use, “taking up the theme of the Piacenza center” explains Carlo Ferretti, director of Ferretticasa. The company closed negotiations with Italcementi for the site once owned by the Pesenti family, which it sold to Heidelberg in 2015. The area has been abandoned since 2016, when the Italcementi headquarters migrated to the red kilometer.
