At 19, Beres Owusu turned pro. The versatile defender has signed with ASSE, his training club, until 2025.
From the height of his 19 years, Beres Owusu turns pro! The young player from AAS Sarcelles joined AS Saint-Étienne in 2020. Initially playing for Jean-Luc Dogon’s U19 squads, he quickly built up time with the reserve, in National 3, under the command of Razik Nedder.
Versatile, able to evolve as a defensive midfielder or into a pure and tough defender role, Beres Owusu has recently taken part in the sessions of the professional group. Laurent Batlles also offered him playing time during friendlies against Grenoble (3-1) and then Ajaccio (0-1). Enough to allow him to obtain a first professional contract so desired by all residents of the Robert-Herbin Sports Center. He now he is linked to the Greens until 2025.
