Bercy is slowly reducing its corporate protection net against unpaid debts. The Ministry of the Economy and Finance is due to formalize this Friday the stopping of one of the two types of devices put in place at the start of the Covid-19 crisis to facilitate businesses’ access to credit insurance, c that is to say, to cover against the risk of default by their customers.
More specifically, credit insurers will no longer benefit from the safety net called CAP Relais from June 30. This provided for the State to bear 20% of claims suffered by credit insurers in exchange for the collection of 20% of their premiums.
