The Frenchman is Real Madrid’s second-best goalscorer of all time in the league.
Karim Benzema scored against Athletic Bilbao at the Estadio de San Mamés and drew Raúl as the second top scorer of Real Madrid in the Liga even. The Frenchman, who made it 0-1 with a spectacular left volley, equaled Raúl’s mark from 1994 to 2010 with 228 league goals. He’s just behind Cristiano Ronaldowho scored 312 goals.
