Benzema Again, Benzema Again

Madrid

Real Madrid have not bought new players to navigate the Spanish League for the 2020/2021 season. On the front lines, it seems like again Karim Benzema which is the focus.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo left in 2018, the goal bar relay has been passed to Karim Benzema. The French player also proved himself to be still sharp in front of goal, even though he was three heads.

Reporting from Brand, the last two seasons Karim Benzema able to score 57 goals. Last season alone at Laliga, he scored 21 goals and finished second as the second top scorer in the league behind Lionel Messi.

Real Madrid actually still have several ‘weapons’ in the attack line. Last season, Los Blancos signed Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.

Unfortunately, the two players were sluggish. Hazard is often covered with injuries, while Luka Jovic feels difficult to adapt.

Hazard appeared 16 times at Spanish League and only scored one goal. Luka Jovic only appeared 17 times, scoring only two goals.

Vinicius and Mariano, two young Los Blancos players are also still not performing. There is still Gareth Bale, but the Welshman has not won the trust of coach Zinedine Zidane.

As a result, Karim Benzema again will be the foundation on the front lines. His role will be irreplaceable.

But of course, Real Madrid will have problems if, for example, Benzema is injured. There is no substitute as skillful as he is for scoring goals.

Last season, Real Madrid’s second highest scorer in the league was a center-back. He is Sergio Ramos with a collection of 11 goals.

Real Madrid indeed, it is widely possible to recruit Kylian Mbappe. But it seems quite difficult to recruit him in the near future, because the club’s finances are also difficult in the midst of a pandemic.

So maybe later, Benzema again, Benzema again to score.

Oh yes, in the warm-up match ahead of the Spanish League, Karim Benzema has already scored four goals in one match, you know.
