Three months ago no one would have bet on a victory for Feytiat in Chartres. Has your team, built to climb, been self-sufficient?
No. We have been vigilant and cautious in approaching this game. The first half was balanced (26-25). This allowed Feytiat to believe in it. They had lost all their preparation matches by scoring less than 55 points, they played without their titular leader (Zinaï) who guarantees their identity. And, in the second half, they played without complex. They scored 56 points with an 8-of-10 three-pointer in the final quarter. I’ve never seen that. We didn’t stop anything and they boldly played their luck.
