Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a message to the people of Iran in which he pointed out that there is no corner of the Middle East that Israel cannot reach, France Press reported, cited by BTA.
Netanyahu’s message comes at a time when the Israeli military is targeting targets from the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group in Lebanon.
“There is no corner of the Middle East that Israel cannot reach,” Netanyahu said in a video address released in English. In it, he warned the people of Iran that the Iranian regime was pushing the region deeper and deeper into darkness and war.
“There is nowhere we cannot go to protect our people and our country,” Reuters quoted Netanyahu as saying.
He said that the Iranian government is leading Iranians to the abyss. According to Netanyahu, Iran and Israel will be at peace when Iran is finally liberated, which he says will happen much sooner than people think.
Israel’s prime minister called slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah a “puppet of the Iranian regime,” pointing out that Israel is liquidating such people every day.
At least 125 people have been killed in Lebanon in Israeli attacks over the past few days, according to official figures. Israel’s intense bombing continues, DPA said.
About 45 people were killed and 70 wounded in attacks in Ain al-Dilb, south of the capital Beirut, officials said.
Since the conflict between the Israeli military and Hezbollah has escalated a year ago, more than 1,600 people are said to have died in Lebanon, including more than 100 children and nearly 200 women. Another 8,400 people were injured.
Today, the Hezbollah group said it attacked an Israeli military base and the northern city of Safed with rockets again.
