22-year-old Benjamin Kimpioka made his debut earlier this year in the Allsvenskan for AIK, which he signed in the spring after a few years in England. In total, there have been eight matches and an assist in the Allsvenskan for the forward. The call is his first for the U21 national team in a year when he last participated in last year’s June gathering.

The U21 national team gathers on Monday 30 May and has two matches in the European Championship qualifiers on the schedule. First Luxembourg away on Thursday 2 June then the European Championship qualifier ends with a match against Italy at home at Olympia on Thursday 9 June.
