Benjamin Rollheiser is very close to being a Benfica reinforcement, the Argentine player’s agent announces, speaking to Globo Esportes, confirming news already reported by Maisfutebol at the beginning of December.
The Brazilian newspaper contacted businessman Carlos Espinoza regarding Corinthians’ alleged interest in the Estudiantes attacking midfielder and the businessman was adamant. «There is a proposal from Corinthians, but we are already closing with Benfica», said the 23-year-old player’s representative on the phone.
Trained at River Plate, the attacking midfielder played the last two years at Estudiantes. In 2023 he accumulated 57 games, 12 goals and 7 assists.
Benja Rollheiser is valued at approximately 9 million euros – the Argentine club, however, only owns 50 percent of the player’s pass, who, in turn, owns the other half.
