Hollywood actor Benicio del Toro (54) has been honored by the City of New York. The actor, who was born in Puerto Rico, will not only be recognized for his work in front of the camera, but also for his educational work around corona vaccinations among Latinos, said Mayor Bill de Blasio on Thursday. June 24th should therefore be “Benicio del Toro Day”.
The actor played in Steven Soderbergh’s “Traffic – Power of the Cartel” and won an Oscar for it in 2001.
