Beniarjó City Council Provides Aid for Childhood Vaccines Not Covered by Public Health System

For the fifth consecutive year, the Beniarjó City Council is calling for aid aimed at the acquisition of childhood vaccines that are not covered by the current Valencian public health system because they are not considered mandatory but are recommended by the Spanish Pediatric Association.

Specifically, the Beniarjoter council will help families with minors pay for vaccines against Rotavirus (Rota Teq or Rotarix), Meningococcus B (Bexsero), ACWY Meningitis (Nimenrix) and Human Papilloma (Gardalsil, Cervarix or others) .

The aid will consist of an amount equivalent to 50% of the cost of the vaccine, with a maximum of €50 per dose per minor. The total amount that the city council will allocate for this purpose is €3,700, included in the 2023 municipal budget. The allocation of these amounts will be applied until the budget allocation is exhausted.

Fathers, mothers and/or guardians of minors who must be vaccinated may request this aid. The latter will have to be registered in Beniarjó before 12/31/2022.

Applications will have to be submitted to the Beniarjó City Council Entry Registry through the model that the council itself provides to all interested parties, either at the municipal offices or through the council website (www.beniarjo.es). The deadline to submit applications ends on December 7, 2023.
