The official recalled that there are other types of cancer and advocated prevention and early detection as fundamental. The march aimed to draw the attention of all women to know their status and know how to identify the signs of breast and uterine cancer.

During the march, which covered several arteries in the city of Benguela and ended at Largo da Juventude, posters were displayed drawing attention to the need to carry out self-examination and disease prevention. Parallel to the march, a Health Fair was held.
