Kerala Blasters again fell halfway. In Durand Cup football, he was eliminated without seeing the semi-finals. Bengaluru FC beat Blasters (1-0) in the quarterfinals. George Perera Diaz scored a brilliant goal in the last minute of the match to give Bengaluru the win. Bengaluru will face defending champions Mohun Bagan Super Giant in the semi-finals on the 27th. Bagan advanced by beating Punjab FC 6-5 in the shootout. The two teams were tied 3-3 at the scheduled time.

Shillong Lajong and North East United will meet in the first semi-final on the 26th. There were no sharp tasters against Bengaluru. Noah Sadoui and Kwame Pepra failed to test the Bengaluru defence. Goalkeeper Som Kumar returned from injury in the fifth minute, which was a stoppage. His replacement was Sachin Suresh. On the other hand, the Blasters star Diaz became dangerous.

The ball fell in the box and hit Sunil Chhetri towards Diaz. The Argentinian hit a brilliant shot that broke through the Blasters defence. That goal ended the game.

The Bagan-Punjab match was exciting. Luka Meissen, Filip Marzaic and Noberto Vidal scored for Punjab. Suhail Butt, Manvir Singh and Jason Cummings provided Bagan’s reply. In the shootout, Cummings’ kick was missed but goalkeeper Vishal Keith Bagan saved. Vishal blocked two of Punjab’s kicks.
