New Delhi: Popular Bengali TV actor Suvo Chakraborty threatened to end his life during his live Facebook session on June 8, 2021. He reportedly cited unemployment for more than a year as the reason he wanted to put end to his days.
According to the Times of India report, after this shocking threat on Facebook Live, Suvo Chakraborty’s friends alerted the police, who arrived on time and saved the actor. The TOI report quoted a police spokesperson as saying, “We take these issues very seriously. Last night we received a call from a Facebook user regarding the incident and responded promptly. Suvo Chakraborty wrote “I’m quitting” on her Facebook post and ended her live session, which worried fans and supporters alike.
The actor rose to fame with Mangal Chandi, who was cut short last year due to the deadly lockdown induced by the novel coronavirus.
