GAME SUMMARY
The roller hockey team of the SL Benfica this Saturday, at the Cidade de Tomar Municipal Pavilion, they beat Valongo by 0-2, in a game counting for the Elite Cup.
On the rink, the eagles were more reckless and domineering, and solved the game through goals with an Argentine accent. The bookmark was opened at 16′ by Lucas Ordoñez. To break, the result registered 0-1 for those of Light.
In the second half, Valongo tried to tie and, on 30′, Rúben Pereira, in a free kick, couldn’t get the tie. In the next minute it was Pablo Álvarez who failed, also with a free kick, to extend the red advantage. It wasn’t at 31′, it was at 40′. Carlos Nicolía was effective, beat Bernardo Mendes and put the result in 0-2. Before the final whistle, on 48′, Lucas Ordoñez could have scored twice, but Bernardo Mendes did not allow it.
Benfica will fight for 5th place in the Elite Cup in this Sunday’s derby, at 11:00, with Sporting.
