Benfica announced the signing of the North American Paige Almendariz, who arrives from Sporting de Braga.
The left-back signed a contract valid until 2025 with the Reds.

The 25-year-old player, originally from California, played for UNLV Rebels and California Storm, before arriving in Portugal, in 2020, to play for Lank Vilaverdense. She has two seasons on Sp. Braga, it was in 2022/23 that she asserted herself, with 28 games, three goals and one assist.
