Benfica’s Brazilian striker Rodrigo Pinho was operated on this Monday on his left knee, following a torn anterior cruciate ligament, and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Benfica informed that the operation was without complications, not specifying the recovery time.
Hired this season at no cost, after having represented Marítimo, Rodrigo Pinho has played three games so far and scored a goal with the Eagles jersey.
The eagles’ clinical report also reveals the injuries of Gedson (trauma to the left ankle), Gil Dias (muscle injury on the posterior surface of the left thigh) and Lázaro, with the same injury on the left thigh.
These players join Seferovic – himself recovering from a muscle injury in his left thigh – in Jorge Jesus’ unavailable list for the Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
