birthday gala is not guaranteed
Benfica assured this Saturday that it will not hire extras if the 118th anniversary gala takes place. after Egor, the recruitment company that classified as false the news that circulated that it would be hiring an extra, the embodied released a statement in which they made it clear that the holding of this event is not even guaranteed. “This decision will be taken during the month of January, according to the evolution of the pandemic situation in Portugal”, refer the eagles.
Here is the statement, in full:
“On false information that circulated today, Sport Lisboa e Benfica clarifies:
1- Given the current pandemic situation, the traditional annual gala for the club’s anniversary has not yet been defined. This decision will be taken during the month of January, according to the evolution of the pandemic situation in Portugal.
2- If, by chance, as we wish, it is possible to carry out this traditional celebration of Benfiquism – which makes us very proud of its historical significance –, no extras will be hired, so the information that points in the opposite direction is totally unfounded.”
