Benfica players Arthur, Diego Nunes and Rocha were called up this Thursday by the Brazilian futsal coach for the 2024 Copa América, which will take place in Luque, Paraguay, from February 2nd to 10th.
Wingers Arthur and Diego Nunes and center Rocha are part of the list of 16 chosen by selector Marquinhos Xavier, for a preparation that begins on January 20th.
Among those called up, emphasis is also placed on the presence of nine players from the Spanish League and Guitta and Roncáglio, former goalkeepers for Sporting and Benfica, respectively.
The draw for the 2024 edition of the Copa América will take place on January 12th, with the first four classified in the competition guaranteeing a place in the World Cup, which will take place in Uzbekistan, between September 14th and October 6th.
