Filip Krovinovic was removed from Benfica’s pre-season work and is under the disciplinary jurisdiction of SAD, because of an audio, which was spread on social networks, in which he insulted Jorge Jesus for not having been used in the preparation games.
In the recording that was made public, and widely shared on social networks, the medium leaves the following vent: «Imagine if you’re in my situation. Yesterday they had a game, they played two teams, and I was the only player who didn’t come in for a minute. Then the assistant coach went there to ask: “Is Krovi there, will he come in?”, and he said “No, he stays there. If anyone gets injured, he goes in”. Mano, son of a bitch, man, amazing!” he said.
Hired from Rio Ave in 2017, Krovinovic has only 28 games (and 2 goals) with an eagle on his chest (in the main team, that is). In the last two seasons he has been on loan to West Bromwich Albion and Nottinghem Forest.
Now integrated in the pre-season work, the Croatian midfielder already had limited chances of staying in the squad, and is now even closer to the exit.
