Benfica and Sp. Braga Return to Board of Liga Portugal for 2023/24 Season

Benfica and Sp. Braga are once again represented on the Board of Liga Portugal, after being absent last season.

The new Board of the League took office this Monday, at the organization’s headquarters in Porto, and includes other news, such as the presence of Henrique Sereno, a former Portuguese international and current head of AVS (Aves SAD).

The directive structure for 2023/24 is composed of representatives from Arouca, FC Porto, Benfica, Sp. Braga, Sporting, AVS, Tondela and Torreense, in addition to Pedro Proença – president of the League – and José Couceiro – representative of the Portuguese Football Federation.

Last season, the board was formed by FC Porto, Sporting, Vitória de Guimarães, Famalicão, Portimonense, Trofense, Estrela da Amadora and Farense.
