Benefit concert – Musikverein Wachtberg played for four-year-old boys

behamberg The Musikverein Wachtberg organized this year’s benefit concert in the parish church of Münichholz on Sunday. The concert was designed by the Musikverein Wachtberg under the direction of Kapellmeister Florian Bürstmayr and the choir under the direction of Sandra Bürstmayr.
The concert was very well attended and the audience was rewarded with a fantastic program. More than half of the pieces were sung by the musicians’ choir, which was composed of the members of the musicians. Between the pieces, Verena Burgholzer and Kathrin Traxler read out thoughts. There was no applause between the pieces. That was made up for at the end accordingly. The audience could sing along to the last piece, “Great God, we praise you”. The net proceeds from the event will benefit the Begic family and the Christkindlaktion.

Daris Begic was born in 2019 at 603 grams and 29 centimeters. He spent the first 103 days of his life in the hospital, where everyone took great care of him. He was then released without a definite diagnosis. After the age of two, the family noticed that something was wrong with their son. At the age of three he was diagnosed with childhood autism. He is currently attending the kindergarten in Ramingdorf, where he is making progress with the support of the teachers. The donation is intended to enable the boy to receive further therapies.

Half of the pieces of music were sung by the musicians’ choir, which was made up of members of the music association.
