“Benedict Cumberbatch and Family Experience Terrifying Home Invasion”

Benedict Cumberbatchhis wife Sophie Hunter and their three young children, Christopher, Hal and Finn, experienced moments of terror at their home in north London, when an individual, identified as Jack Bissell, entered the property and threatened them with a knife.

Although the man has already been arrested, international media reported that the famous family is still in shock, since they feared for his life and are currently spending sleepless nights.

According to “The Daily Mail”, Bissell is a 35-year-old man who worked as a chef at the luxurious Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair, one of the prestigious areas of the British capital.

The reports report that the subject would have kicked down the main iron door while uttering threats, such as: “I know you have moved here, I hope it burns down.”

In addition, he threw one of the garden plants against the wall of the house and damaged the electric intercom in his failed attempt to enter the property.

Frightened and watching the scene from inside, the couple locked themselves in with their children and called the police, who arrived minutes after the assailant left without achieving his goal.

Due to the DNA evidence that the chef left at the electric door, the police force managed to identify him and arrested him days later.

At trial, prosecutors commented that prior to the attack, Bissel bought bread at a nearby store and apparently told the seller of his plans, since he intended to burn “to the ground” the house of the protagonist of “Doctor Strange.”

The person responsible was fined and took responsibility for the damage caused to Benedict’s property. In addition, a restraining order was imposed on him that prohibits him from approaching the actor’s family and the area for a period of three years.

It is worth mentioning that the incident occurred at the beginning of the month. On the other hand, it was learned that Bissel has had problems with the law since 2015. In that year, he was arrested during a protest against the military intervention in Syria, he is also awarded the creation of a dish in the restaurant where he worked, he has a previous conviction for robbery, three complaints for crimes against private property and one for drug crimes.

So far, the reasons that led him to act violently against the Cumberbatch are unknown.

Despite the fact that neither the actor nor the director have commented on the matter, a close source said that: “The whole family was absolutely terrified and thought that this guy would come in and hurt them.”
