The Minister of Justice called the development of children’s digital skills very important at the event in which 150 laptops were given in the Dunakeszi Student Quarter on Tuesday.
Bence Tuzson, as the Fidesz member of parliament for the region, recalled that during the coronavirus epidemic, together with the center of the school district, they realized that there are many disadvantaged children who have problems participating in education online in some form, so they arranged to gather it together with several businesses.
He said: they were happy that the education government also decided that it was worth continuing this program on a wider scale, with which they can provide children with tools that will ensure access to digital education in the long term at any time, and that children can, if necessary, online they can also engage in education.
According to his information, 150 laptops will be given out this time, and a total of 600 laptops will be given out in the city of Dunakeszi.
At the same time, Bence Tuzson said that it was important “you will understand” athese devices, that is, parents should be able to control the use of their child’s devices.
Katalin Balatoni, Deputy Secretary of State for Public Education at the Ministry of the Interior, said that the government’s goal in the project launched in 2022 is for all students between grades 5 and 12 to have access to on digital education, and they want to give them the means for this.
According to the presentation of the Assistant Secretary of State, with 579,000 such devices distributed or to be distributed throughout the country, this opportunity reaches everywhere from the smallest settlements to the cities largest, and not only for state students, but also in the church and local government educational institutions, these records can also be used as records.

Katalin Balatoni also said that although the project would have been realized with EU funds according to the original plans, no EU grant has been received so far, so the government implemented it within investment framework of about 200 billion.
