Atlas tied at home against Mazatlán FC, fourteenth in the standings, in a match in which both teams generated few offensive plays.
San José considered that his team dominated the first minutes of the match and missed opportunities that could have given them the advantage, but they were unable to maintain the level in the second half
“We dominated the first half, we had a crossbar on a dead ball. “We have tried to go for the goals, but the first 20 minutes have not been our best,” he said.
The red and black team remains in eighth place in the standings with 18 points, after adding five wins, three draws and four losses.
During the match, Atlas fans demonstrated in the stands against the board using a blanket and chanting “Atlas belongs to its people,” while they threw red flares onto the field, near one of the goals, so the referee He had to stop the match for a few minutes at the start of the second half.
