Ben Simmons will increase the pace of training and his debut with Nets is approaching

New Brooklyn Nets player Ben Simmons is stepping up his training pace and his debut with the organization continues to draw closer, ESPN’s Ramona Shleburne reported.

More than eight months have passed since Simmons’ last NBA game. The last time he was on the court was during the fateful game 7 of the 76ers against the Hawks, a game in which he did not have a good performance and that triggered his dispute with the Philadelphia team.

The Nets have not defined the exact date of the Australian player’s debut, but it is expected that in a period of one or two weeks he will already be in uniform with the Brooklyn franchise, a team that needs all the possible help since they do not currently have the injured Kevin Durant.
