Ben Affleck (52) reunited with his children and ex-wife Jennifer Garner (52) over the weekend in New Haven, Connecticut, where they all went out for dinner. Their daughter Violet is reportedly going to college, so the family may have had one of the last opportunities for a while to get together in larger numbers and spend time together…
The four dined at the South Bay alfresco restaurant on Sunday before taking a walk around the neighborhood. At the same time, there are rumors that Violet should start attending one of the most prestigious and at the same time the most difficult universities in the world – Yale. Also, at one point, Ben, who had jetted off to Connecticut without his wedding ring, seemed genuinely happy as he hugged Fina (formerly Seraphina’s daughter) and Jennifer looked on with emotion.
At the same time, people are clear and Ben, who is said to have already filed divorce papers with Jennifer Lopez, would like to see him again by the side of his ex-wife. “They seem so happy together! This couple is a great example of what parenting should look like after a divorce! Most couples can’t handle this. I’ve always admired Jennifer Garner and will continue to,’ writes one Daily Mail reader, to which another replies: ‘Yes and Ben looks happier than ever.’

However, some are of the opinion that Ben already sees his ex-wife more like a sister whom he always likes to see. Additionally, Garner is in a long-term relationship with businessman John Miller.
