Actor Ben Affleck, 51, has bought a new house for around 20 million euros, according to TMZ. Affleck’s representative has not commented on the matter.
Affleck and his spouse, singer Jennifer Lopez, 55, previously put their Beverly Hills apartment up for sale for more than 60 million euros. They put the apartment up for silent sale in June, but there were no buyers, so they put it up for public sale on July 11. Lopez is also said to be looking for a new apartment.
Lopez and Affleck’s marriage has long been rumored to be in crisis and it has been reported that they have already lived separately. According to People magazine’s sources, Affleck also did not attend Lopez’s birthday party in July.
The couple got married in 2022, but they dated earlier at the beginning of the millennium. At that time, however, the relationship ended in separation just before marriage.
Real estate sources tell TMZ that Affleck’s new 20 million euro home is located in Brentwood, Los Angeles. According to the source, the apartment has, among other things, five bedrooms and six bathrooms, breakfast and dining areas, a separate family room, a study, walk-in closets, a media room and a guest room.
Celebrity real estate agent Josh Flagg told People magazine earlier in July that Affleck and Lopez’s public listing of their Beverly Hills home for nearly what they paid for it themselves is a sign that the couple really wants out of their apartment.
