The couple, who have been together since 2009, have documented the pregnancy both on Instagram and in “The Baby Podcast”. Among other things, they have posted ultrasound image.
The baby was born on the due date, 25.09.21, and is named Skylar Skjoldnes Adams, writes Ben Adams on Instagram.
– She slept next to me most of the night. Fantastic, he writes.
On Instagram, he also writes that he is very impressed with his fiancée Sara Skjoldnes’ efforts during the birth.
– Thank God I did not have to do it, he writes, and adds that he is impressed with all the other women who have done it.
The child is the first for both, and they have long since revealed that the child in the womb was a girl.
In recent days, Adams has shared a glimpse Instastory, where he and his fiancé are out and about – in an attempt to speed up the birth.
Skjoldnes, who comes from Skien, is also a singer – although not as well known as his cohabitant. She used her singing talent when she participated in Miss World in 2009.
British Adams became famous worldwide with boybandet A1. He has also participated in Melodi Grand Prix and swung almost to the top in “Skal vi danse”. It is many years since he made “Norwegian of himself” and moved to Norway because of love.
While the rest of the A1 is currently touring in England, Ben’s home country, Ben has had to wait until the birth. The band will also travel to Asia this autumn, while a Norwegian tour is planned in 2022.
Recently, A1 released the song “Spiders”, the first taste of the album coming next year.
The A1 had its heyday around the turn of the millennium. Ben Adams, Mark Read and Norwegian Christian Ingebrigtsen became, together with Paul Marazzi, part of the pop adventure A1 in 1999.
In the following years, they had several superhits such as “Caught In The Middle”, “Same Old Brand New You”, “Everytime” and a version of the a-ha classic “Take On Me”. In 2002 it was over, but Ben, Mark and Christian made a comeback first in 2009 and then 2018.
