Based on the level of accrued wages for May 2024, every tenth Belarusian will receive 3-5 thousand rubles. This data is provided by Belstat in a collection about the socio-economic situation of Belarus in the first half of the year.
Thus, the share of employees with wages below 700 rubles was 5% of the total number of employees of the surveyed organizations (in November 2023 – 8.7%). Under the minimum wage of 626 rubles, 2.6% will earn, and in November 2023 – 2.3% (then the minimum wage was 554 rubles).
The share of employees with a nominal salary of more than 1.5 thousand rubles in May 2024 was 58.4% compared to 50% in November 2023. At the same time, 37% of employees receive a salary of more than 2 thousand rubles (in November 2023 – 28.9%).
13.2% earned more than 3 thousand rubles in May (in November 2023 – 9.9%). Salary was more than 5 thousand rubles at 2.7% for May.
