Frederic Forrest breathed his last on Friday, June 23, when he succumbed to an insidious disease at his home in Santa Monica. He was one of the most respected actors of his time, who became famous for his role as Chef Hicks in the film Apocalypse or Carry in the film Stop on the Missouri.
During his varied career, he collaborated with important directors such as Francis Ford Coppola, Wim Wenders, Mark Rydell, Arthur Penn or Joel Schumacher. The American film daily reported on the sad news on Saturday morning The Hollywood Reporter.
