English international Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid star, spoke after his team’s victory against Napoli in the Champions League.

Yesterday, Wednesday, Real Madrid defeated Napoli 4-2 in the fifth round of the Champions League.

Bellingham scored one goal and made another in Real Madrid’s victory yesterday.

Bellingham said in statements published by the UEFA website, speaking about his goal: “It was a very, very good goal from the team’s point of view. We must be calm and patient, especially at the Bernabeu, where teams come and stay deeper.”

He continued: “I made a lot of those runs from midfield this season. When I saw David Alaba in possession of the ball, he was able to find me with a pass of such high quality that all I had to do was direct it. I think this goal was due to David’s accuracy and retention.” The team plays the ball well!

Regarding beating Napoli in the absence of many key players due to injury, Bellingham said: “I think this is Real Madrid’s character, but I claim we already knew that.”

He stressed: “It is important that while there are players absent, we all accept responsibility and participate to win matches, and this is what we did tonight.”
