The former Disney star Bella Thorne (25) opens up about his time as a child actor and admits that all was not rosy at the time.
Among other things, Thorne is said to have lost an acting job as early as 10, after being accused of behaving inappropriately towards a director.

It’s on the podcast «High Low with EmRata» that the 25-year-old speaks openly, among other things, about his adolescence as an actor, including on Disney Channel.
Even at a young age, Thorne made his debut on the television screen, but his big breakthrough came when he landed one of the lead roles in Disney’s ‘Shake It Up’. Before that, she was seen in numerous auditions and auditions in Hollywood.
One particular audition when she was 10 stuck in her memory, but not in a good way.
– The casting director called my agent, who called my mom and said, “It’s not moving forward, because the director felt she was flirting with him, and that made him very uncomfortable,” Thorne says on the podcast .

Additionally, the 25-year-old admits she still thinks about the incident “every day,” but needs to remind herself that she, as a child, wasn’t the problem in that situation.
– It’s almost like I’m trying to find fault with myself, like: “What did I do to make him feel like this?”.
However, Thorne is confused as to why the director thought she was flirting with him. He points out that the only thing you do during such a casting process is make the scene, say hi, and go out again.
– There’s no time to sit on someone’s lap or make someone uncomfortable, she says.
Abuse
The interview in the podcast comes five years after it first opened up that she herself was abused as a child.
“I was sexually abused from the day I can remember until I was 14. Then finally I had the courage to lock the door at night and sit next to it. All night I waited for someone to take advantage of me again. Over and over I waited for it to end, and it finally happened,” she wrote, among other things, on Instagram in 2018.
