A big fashion show will animate the place of the theater of Nîmes this Thursday, June 16 at 6 p.m. It will conclude the Bell’ event in Nîmes, a festival of hairdressers and beauty professions.
A red carpet will cover the Place de la Calade, in front of the Nîmes theater this Thursday, June 16. At this second edition of the beauty professions festival, the closing parade will involve not only women, but also men and children, a novelty for 2022. These professional or amateur models will parade in outfits provided by the boutiques of the town center and the Dome. They will be styled and made up by beauticians from the city center.
Another novelty this year: the support of the Miss France committee with the exclusive presence of Miss Nîmes.
The parade is under the artistic direction of Camille Sammut, of the Address hairstyle.
The fashion show will be opened by a model in a green outfit, made by apprentice florist students.
Discover a professional sector
The learning of trades around beauty will be honored throughout this event. Moreover, the Chamber of Trades and Crafts will hold a stand on Place Calade to promote various professionalizing sectors. Training in aesthetics will also be highlighted, with, for example, hairdressing and make-up demonstrations.
A busy afternoon
To highlight the fashion, beauty and well-being sector, several events and promotions are planned in the salons and institutes of the city center, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Other stands of women’s associations and culture will take place at the foot of the Maison Carrée.
