Belitung Records 4 Death Cases due to DHF in 2021

BELITUNG, iNews.id – Belitung District Health Office, Archipelago Province Bangka Belitung recorded that there were four cases of death due to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD) until November 2021. The number of dengue cases in the area until the fourth week of November was recorded as 120 cases.

The Head of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) of the Belitung Health Office, Joko Sarjono, said the trend of dengue cases had increased in recent times.

“Until now, there have been four cases of death due to dengue fever, spread across a number of places. Until the fourth week of November there were 120 cases of dengue fever,” he said, Thursday (11/25/2021).

He appealed to the people in the area to be aware of dengue fever during the rainy season, by actively carrying out Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN), especially in the neighborhood.

“So we urge the public to be aware of dengue fever, especially during the rainy season like today,” he said.
