Belgium will bring a delegation of 49 companies to the world’s largest video game fair, the Gamescom in Cologne. Figures from the Flemish Games Association show that there are many more Flemish game companies. However, turnover and earnings are not doing so well.
“We changed our account last year. Larian Studios has created an amazing turnaround, but it is no longer a Flemish company from a tax technical point of view. So for 2023 we have removed their international income and employment from our figures,” says David Verbruggen, General Manager at FLEGA.
