Belgium is also going to lock Abroad

From Wednesday afternoon, Belgians may only visit supermarkets, pharmacies and banks or go outside for emergencies.

People gatherings are prohibited. Outdoor physical activities are allowed, such as walking, jogging or cycling, provided that a distance of 1.5 meters with other people is observed.

The police will see to it that the restrictions are maintained, according to the channel RTBF.

The Netherlands does not go into “lockdown” like Belgium and France. While EU leaders agreed at their video conference on coronavirus-related measures that all Member States go “at least orange”, each country decides whether to temporarily shut down social life. The Netherlands is not opting for that now, Prime Minister Mark Rutte repeated Tuesday evening.
