Belgium Falls to North Macedonia in Euro Basketball Match for Under 16s

Belgium lost 63-57 to North Macedonia in their first Euro basketball match for players under 16 on Saturday in Skopje, in group B.

Facing the host country, the young Belgian Lions were trailing 32-31 at rest and were in control 46-47 before the last quarter. The home team made the difference in the last quarter.

Jayden Hodge made a big performance on the Belgian side, with 25 points and 19 rebounds. On the side of North Macedonia, Dorijan Ivanovski put 16 points.

Belgium will meet Lithuania on Sunday and France on Monday.

The sixteen teams involved in this tournament, divided into four groups, will play in the round of 16, with the group stage used to determine the draw for the knockout stage.

The last three of the final classification will be relegated to Division B.
