Belgian footballers celebrate a goal against the Czech national team.
Coach Šilhavý made three changes against the Ostrava duel with Belarus in the starting line-up. Instead of the King, Doležal and the injured Jankt, he sent Pešek, Vydra and, surprisingly, his debut Kaša to the field. The reason was the transfer of Holeš to the reserve line, where he was given the task of capturing the centers on Lukaku as in the March duel in Eden.
That’s why, next to Kalas, the debutant from Victoria, Pilsen, stood on the tracker. However, Kaša started very unhappily. Right at the first touch with the ball, he put a weak little house, Vaclík had to go into a slip and the giant Lukaku stepped on the tip of his leg. After half a minute, the Czech goalkeeper was treated and the goalkeeping coach Veselý started warming up Staňka for sure …

The Czechs managed to catch at least one promising moment in the beginning. Hložek got rid of Alderweireld at the age of sixteen, fired, and the home team thanked Denayer for knocking the blow to the corner.

Then the celebrant took the floor again. Vanaken sent a vertical pass, Kaša had no chance in a one-on-one duel and Lukaku as a tank unstoppably opened the score.
Against the injured goalkeeper, because Vaclík could not continue and five minutes after the collected goal he left the shrine to another debutant, Staňek.

Courtois did not admit the plot
While in the mutual duel in March the Czechs faced the favorite with activity, emphasis and presink, this time they resisted him only with all their might. The chances on the home side increased, and thundered for the second time until the break. The delicacy was served again by Vanaken, he sent the ball between Kaša and Coufal and Captain Hazard finished the shot with a shot on the back post.
The Czechs could come to life. Pešek served Vydra right after the start of the second half, but the striker himself could not pass Courtois in front of the goalkeeper. He had an even bigger chance than Lukaku before the first goal … The guests were then lucky that Staněk excelled at Lukaku’s chance for the second time.

The Czechs allowed themselves more, Hložek’s shot could have been a goal – if the great Courtois had not shown her a stop sign again. The Red Devils were more productive. Hazard and Lukaku pushed Saelemaeks with two feet and the substitute player hit with confidence.
The Czechs will no longer be the first in the group, thanks to their success in the League of Nations, they can almost certainly count on a play-off in which they will have to fight for Qatar. In the end, coach Šilhavý also gave Wiesner his debut.
