Belgium and Germany give Utrecht code red: this is what it means

The number of corona infections in Utrecht increase. After Belgium, Germany has now also given code red to the province of Utrecht. The countries are calling on their residents not to travel to Utrecht. And the other way around: if you travel from our province to Belgium or Germany, you will have to deal with measures.

If you travel from Utrecht to Belgium, you must be tested and quarantined for two weeks. If you are staying in Belgium for more than two days, you must complete a form 48 hours before arrival.

If you cross the border into Germany, you must show a negative corona test that is not older than 48 hours. If that is not possible, you have to get tested in Germany. Then you have to quarantine for two weeks. If the test is negative, the quarantine will be lifted. These rules do not apply if you are in transit to another country.
