According to American media The US has called on almost all embassy personnel in Kiev to leave by tomorrow. Some diplomats would be transferred to the west of the country. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet confirmed this.
For the time being, the Netherlands sticks to the advice to leave the country if someone does not have to be in Ukraine strictly. For the regions of Donetsk, Lugansk and Crimea and the border with Russia and Belarus, a red travel advice.
Employees of the Russian embassy in Kiev have also started to leave the country, Russian news agency Ria Novosti reported. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the embassy will remain open.
‘Stay calm’
