Belgians abroad – Sharing between Reims and Strasbourg, an assist for Doku

(Belga) Strasbourg conceded a third consecutive split on Sunday in Reims (1-1). At the Champenois, Wout Faes played the whole match in the axis of the defense, Maxime Busi was replaced (75th) and Thomas Foket, injured was absent. On the Alsatian side, Matz Sels stayed the 90 minutes in goal.

After opening the scoring through Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (69th, 0-1), the Strasbourg residents resisted the onslaught of the Rémois until the equalizer by Jens Cadjus (84th, 1-1). This result does not help either of the two teams in the standings: Racing finds itself 5th (44 points) and Reims is still 13th (32 points). Stade Rennais won against Angers thanks to goals from Benjamin Bourigeaud (33rd, 1-0) and Gaëtan Laborde (88th, 2-0), on an assist from Jérémy Doku in the game in the 72nd. This third victory in a row allows the Bretons to keep their fourth place (46 points) and to temporarily return to one point from Marseille, which hosts Monaco this Sunday evening.
