Belgians abroad: Joseph Nonge (Juventus) loaned to Ligue 2, Ayanda Sishuba leaves Lens

Trained at Anderlecht, the left-hander left Belgium to join Juventus’ youth classes in the summer of 2021. Having passed through the U17s, U19s and reserves, he played four matches for the Old Lady’s first team last season.

Nonge, a Belgian youth international, will have to bring some consistency to the Troyes midfield line. Indeed, the club is in last place in the championship after three defeats in as many days.

Ayanda Sishuba leaves Lens for Hellas Verona

Ayanda Sishuba took advantage of the last hours of the European transfer window on Friday evening to change teams. The Belgian attacking midfielder, 19, left Lens after six years to join Hellas Verona. The Italian club did not specify the duration of the contract.

Having arrived in Lens in 2018 at the age of 13, Sishuba quickly rose through the ranks with the Blood and Gold. Last season, the Belgian U19 international shone in particular in the Youth League, with three goals in six games, and played eight matches, including seven in Ligue 1, with the first team.

Verona, 13th in the defunct Serie A season, are in 10th place after a victory against Napoli and a defeat against Juventus.

Ignace Van der Brempt loaned to Como, newly promoted to Serie A

Ignace Van der Brempt has been loaned to Como by his club Salzburg, the Italian club, newly promoted to Serie A and coached by Cesc Fàbregas, the former Spanish international, made official on Friday evening.

Van der Brempt was already loaned to Hamburg in the German second division last year. This time he is on loan to Como, with an obligation to buy.

The 22-year-old from Antwerp arrived in Salzburg in January 2022 from Club Brugge, with a contract until 2026. In a season and a half, Van der Brempt had played 24 times, scoring 1 goal.

In Hamburg, the right-back played 23 matches (3 assists). This season, Ignace Van der Brempt played in both of Salzburg’s Champions League play-off matches against Dynamo kyiv on Tuesday and the previous week.

Van der Brempt played the Euro U21 with the Diablotins in June 2023, in Georgia and Romania. Belgium failed to get past the group stage, and the defender only played 9 minutes of the second group match against Georgia (2-2).
