“New York, New York.” Written in 1977, it became very famous in the version of Frank Sinatra. The song remains one of the most famous ever written about the city. And let’s say it: who doesn’t dream ofAmerican Dream ? Pour Roxane Schneidersenior artistic director at FCB New York, this dream has come true. Ten months ago, she moved to the metropolis to form a tandem with her former teammate and copywriter, Pieter Claeys, who had already crossed the border. “Pieter has worked with us for over four years. First at Happinessthen at TBWA and finally at Mutant. We are a well-rounded team,” Roxane Schneider told us during a Teams from distant New York. No less than six hours of lag separate us at that point. “Pieter moved to New York about two years ago. He was going to work there for TBWA/Chiat/Day New York and asked me if I wanted to go with him, but it wasn’t the right time for me. Pieter left on his own and our professional paths separated…”

…until last year. Roxane answers the call of adventure. “I yearned for something new. I dreamed of working for big clients and big budgets. And then, I was asked to join FCB New York with Pieter. I was immediately excited. I always knew that a life in Belgium was not made for me. Additionally, I have always loved traveling and had already been to New York once. I liked it so much that I said to myself: why not?”
