Belgian radio station in quarantine: only music | Entertainment

entertainment">The newspapaer reports that at the end of last week a first infection would have been detected in someone from the presenter’s team Fien Germijns. Colleagues who had worked closely with the infected person were asked to be tested; Germijns was allowed to present her evening program from home. But now that a second colleague has also been found positive, all employees must have themselves tested and also be quarantined preventively.

entertainment">“It is insurmountable that this has consequences for the programming on the channel,” says Studio Brussel network head Jan Van Biesen know. “The health of our people is of course paramount. Given the circumstances, we had no choice but to proceed to this collective quarantine. I know our listeners will understand this very well. We hope, as soon as this is allowed and possible, to resume all our normal broadcasts and offerings, because our entire team is extra motivated here at the start of the new radio season. ”

Michèle Cuvelier (6am – 9am) and Fien Germijns (4pm – 7pm) will make solo radio from their home. During the other hours you only hear music. ”
