Belgian icon Comme chez soi sees Michelin star disappear again: “Father is speechless, and we don’t understand it either” (Brussels)

There is no greater icon in the Belgian culinary world than Comme chez soi. But the icon is losing feathers. Two of the three Michelin stars have since disappeared. “This is very difficult for father,” says Laurence, daughter of Pierre Wynants who made the business big. “We just don’t understand. Over the past few weeks, we heard from colleagues that we just had a chance to win three stars. And now they’re taking one away from us? Why?”
