Belgian comedian Alex Vizorek presents the show “Ad Vitam”, Sunday October 15 at the Bernadette-Lafont theater in Nîmes.
After the fantastic performance by the De Hoe collective at the Odéon this week, this is the first highlight of the Nîmes theater season. This Sunday, comedian Alex Vizorek will be on stage at the Bernadette-Lafont theater. Known for his participation in Charline Vanhoenacker’s band on France Inter, he presents his show “Ad Vitam”.
Ten years after his first solo performance where he discussed contemporary art, Alex Vizorek chooses to brave death. Or rather to laugh about it…
On stage, the Belgian talks about a whole bunch of things more or less distant from his main theme. Philosophy, biology, culture, the “little death”, Baudelaire’s poetry, animal reproduction… Everything comes together in an enjoyable mix where a sense of the absurd, intellectual references and trivial remarks mix!
Note that the comedian will be on display again on Saturday November 25 at the Ombrière in Uzès, officiating in the role of reciter for The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns with the impressive duo of pianists Jatekok.
Sunday October 13, 5 p.m. Bernadette-Lafont Theater, place de la Calade, Nîmes. From €10 to €40. 04 66 36 65 10.
